Curriculum vitae in english:
Born in Peru, he made its studies of song with Andrés Santa María with the National Academy of Music of Lima.
He makes its beginning in 1997 with the role of Siebel in the opera “Fausto” in Teatro Municipal of Lima. Between 2000 and 2002 he is soloist with the Cathedral of Lima for religious events broadcast on television. After having interpreted oratorios with the various concerts with Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional del Perú and Orquesta Filarmónica of Lima, he receives a purse of the National institute of Culture of its country to make studies in Real Conservatorio de Música of Madrid, continuing in continuation its formation at Dennis Hall in Bern and of Umberto Finazzi in Italy.
He sang with the theaters of Lucerne and of Bern and currently he is regularly invited to sing oratorios, by making presentations, for example, with the basilica Maria Plain in Salzburg and the Pantheon of Rome.
Andrés del Castillo took part in Classic Openair de Solothurn and in Ticino Musica Festival of Locarno and lately he sang in works like “My Fair Lady”, “Vipern”, “Finta Giardiniera” and “He Signor Bruschino”. In this moment he takes part in the productions “Medea in Corinto” and “Alzira”, with the Theater of St-Gall.
